as a newby in dvd authoring, i need to ask here first:
i always author with tmpgencdvdauthor using one audio track and the video encoded for each movie(2 movies per media) and do the menu and chapters...works perfect.
then,i'm thinking in put 2 audios and 2 subs for each movie...tmpgencdvdauthor don't do that, it's for one audio track without subs.
using ifoedit/vobedit,i can author encoding the video(in CCE) and mixing with all audios and subs, authoring a new dvd but without menu.
but i don't what tool i need to author the menu using that 2 movies encoded with 2 audios, 2 subs with chapters. any hints please?
thanks! :)

Look for either Scenarist or DVDMaestro

@jorel
Look for either Scenarist or DVDMaestro You should ultimately learn one of these two programs if you are serious about DVD authoring. However, they might look very complex to you at first because it's professional-level software.
Try starting with a more simple program such as DVD-lab that allows menus and subtitles. Other popular tool is Ulead DVD Workshop. Have a look at this list of authoring programs (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=&s=2&orderby=Views%2FPopularity&convert=&dvdauthorfeatures=26&Submit=Search+or+List+tools) sorted by their popularity.
Also, check out DVD-lab Guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd-lab.htm) among other guides on this site on this site.

Scenarist or DVDMaestro seems very hard to start.seems that dvdlab can do what i want:
"Multiple Audio and Subtitle Channels
Each title in DVD-lab PRO can have up to 8 audio channels: AC3, MPA, LPCM or DTS and also number of subtitle streams. You have the ability to add 8 subtitle channels, import from popular formats. You can use customized graphic subtitles (import from bitmap)"
"Flexible DVD structure
DVD-lab PRO is a full Multiple-VTS application, that means you can put different aspect ratios or movies with different audio channels on one DVD. But unlike other Multi-VTS applications in this category, DVD-lab PRO does not force you to use any predefined DVD structure. Each Video Title Set can be as complex or as simple as you want. The full flexibility of creating the DVD structure is one of the strongest point of DVD-lab PRO."
seems ok...more than one movie with more than one audio and subs in each movie!
thank you very much gircobain and Dimmer! :)

If I understand correctly, you're asking how to start the movie automatically after displaying a menu for a few seconds. Look at this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=521236#post521236), maybe it will answer your question. Basically, you make a regular still menu, and then change its Cell Still Time parameter in IfoEdit.

There is no easy way to make a DVD with menus, subtitles, and 2 audio tracks! You'll have to use one of the authoring programs we mentioned. Feel free to ask for help with that!

I found this tutorial on Doom9 to be very helpful in learning DVD Lab...I'm pretty sure you can accomplish what you are trying after reading this.
