Hi. Trying to learn all this movie-editing, that's why i've posted all those nooby questions at this board, please be patient.:=)Now, here comes another one: I have this AVI(from my old VHS-tapes) that i want on a DVD (made it an xvid at first for watching on the computer) and applied subs to it with VOBSUB and created an MPEG2 in TEMPGEnc. so far so good, but as soon as it goes on a DVD the movie gets kind of jerky. Could this be because of an out of sync- frames/sound issue? It's working smooth on the computer though. Is that thanks to the XVID- codec/s that one need to have installed? If so, how does one take that filtering on to the DVD-burning in order to avoid a jerky playback?
Thx:)

hi storebore,
you'll have to give us more details on your process, like the avisynth script used (if you used avisynth), the exact program chain, or in other words your whole workflow, with as many logs and settings as possible!
cheers

Aouch...:=). Ok, that'll be a hard one. What i did was:
Converted my 23.976 fps AVI xvid-file also containg mp3 Audio to a 16:9 PAL mpeg2 via the Project Wizard in TEMPGEnc 2.5. This leads as far i as know to a 25 fps-file? Now, this file displays fine when being playbacked in eg. my Win Mediaplayer, no jerkyness or anything but as soon as i make a DVD (i used WinDVD Creator and Ulead Movie Factory 2) i end up with a Disc that got everything right except the LAG. Too less info?....
Thx
