30-24 Interlaced Video, What Option Do I Chose??

I got a DVD that is Interlaced 30FPS. I was wondering after preparing files with DVD2AVI which Deinterlace option to do to convert it to 24FPS and to have it deinterlaced properly.

How do you know it's interlaced? Are you just going by what DVD2AVI told you? Then that's not good enough. Or have you had a look at the frames and seen that they're all interlaced. If that's the case, then you deinterlace, and keep it at 29.97fps.

But maybe you mean to ask how to IVTC. But you didn't. So, first read this (http://www.doom9.org/ivtc-tut.htm) and please come back when you have a bit more knowledge and can provide a bit more information.
