Hi. So i made an AVi without no sound out of two xvid-files in TEMPGEnc that i've joined together and i also merged two soundfiles into one soundtrack from the Video as a .waw-PCM 48000 khz-16bit stereo-file. I'm able to play the wawfile separatly so i know there's nothing wrong with it and the Videofile without the sound is Ok too. Now, the problem is that the new AVI-outputfile i'm trying to create got no sound at all though i load the .waw-file together with the videofile. I don't seem to figure how to put it all together. will really appreciate some help :)
Thx

so let me get this straight:

you got
2 avi files containing an xvid movie, no sound
2 wav (you meant wav not waw right?) files

why don't you use virtualdubmod to do the job?

either first mux, then merge or do it all in one step... if you get sync issues report back, or even better, search the forum!

Actually not:) I already got One .AVI out of the Two xvids an also One.wav-file out the Two mp3 streams in the xvid-files. So i have
1 AVI
1 wav
I want to put them together in TEMGEnc but are not getting any sound in the new AVI-outputfile so to speak.

Thx

use virtualdubmod to do the job

open avi file

then go to streams > streamlist > add chose your wav file and click ok...

then set video mode to 'direct stream copy' and save the new avi

it should have the sound in it then!
