Greetings,

Im having this strange problem.. I'd say this would be windows 2003 related, but I had it with XP aswell.

Whatever player would I play video with (wmp, mpc, wmp9), video would "fast forward" few seconds from time to time. What I mean, that from time to time video would just jump a bit forward - audio video sync staying intact. I thought it was problem with ffdshow, but it happens with xvid decoder aswell. Heck, it even happens with mpeg1/2 too (not really sure, but I think I recall it happening).

What could be a problem? =/ Im out of ideas :(

Might be the same problem I had. Try ReClock.
If that doesn´t help, you might want to download Media Player Classic and tell it not to use the system default (video/audio) renderer.

That helped me.

i already tried mpc with different outputs.. besides, it used to work even without ReClock :/ whats the problem :(

Dammit, same stuff happens when playing DVD aswell :( I'm out of ideas :(
