Sorry for not understaning it more but I'm in need of some dire help wth YATTA.

Currently going thorugh a series of steps by ZX LINK (http://guide.zhentarim.net) for encoding DVD to a smaller portable size.

It's been going good up until the YATTA part (as I can't find the manual for it anywhere)
I have calculated the metrics using Yatta Metrics Collector but the next part is proving difficult for me.

Have searched the forums for help regarding IVTC (Vmetrics) and Pattern Matching, but just can't seem to understand it all.

Being my first anime conversion try I lack Yatta knowledge.
If someone could please give me some handy hints/tips/help that would be much appreciated.

Thanx

Download his Decomb521 package and read the manuals it comes with. Once you can do the process manually, then you're ready for yatta.

The YATTA manual is the changelog. It is the only manual I have on my pc that reads better in reverse. ;)

That and a knowledge of what IVTC involves is all you need. I used to include common sense in that phrase, but then I remembered we are talking about software that is under constant development.

Oh, and keep in mind that freezeframes are your friends. :D
