Mplayer (win) And AviMuxGui (win)

while i can play near anything with this player (btw i don't know how to play a dvd either in HD or DVD...) i notice that avi file muxed with avimux gui (1.16.5,great tool) isn't playble.

But if i de-check "Use Open-DML output" the file is ok.
Both file play ok on mpc.

Any hints?

mplayer has some problems with opendml avi files, we are using mplayer as a core for xbmc(xbox media center), and have these issues. Easiest way to work around it is to specify the -noidx option on start up (will however disble seeking).

To play a dvd with mplayer use this syntax
mplayer dvd://[TITLE] -dvd-device [PATH TO DVD]
