Comparing Memorex DVD+R to Ritek G08 DVD-R

Wow, I'm not happy with my Ritek G05's. I burned these with my NEC 1300A at 4x.

So far, it looks like the memorex 4x DVD+R are much better.
I can read both fine though, so I guess that's good.

hey, just curious but are you having problems with your riteks or just going by the results of the test. (by the way what software are you using ver. no. etc.)

I have had very good results with ritek+r, Fuji+r, and memorex+r.

I've had weird problems with my Riteks..like they won't burn at 4x when they used to and I get a lot of coasters when it tries to burn at 4x.

I'm using cd-dvd speed 3.0 for testing with an NEC 1300A drive with firmware 1.09

These are Ritek DVD-R not +R...so the media id code is G05
