VLC+VideoOverlay and soft YV12->YUY2?

Anyone know If I can configure VLC to play video in overlay but make color conversion in software to YUY2? Overlay mode is faster but hardware color conversion is bugy here on GF2Pro.

activate Advanced Options
and somewhere bellow there is Overlay :)
dont think theirs a way todo a software yuy2 conversion :(
that was also one of the reasons i changed to ATI ;)
i had the same upsampleing problems with my Geforce 3 in overlay with YV12 only non Overlay helped
