I play the TS files on PC just using the VideoLAN thing :o
http://www.videolan.org/

...however, they might can be converted easily (i mean w/o re-encoding and therefore w/o quality loss) to mpeg2, just by digging them mpeg2/ac3 streams from the ts file.

I would like to have more standard mpeg2 files instead of the ts ones, that can be played using normal players, like BSplayer, when the FFD show mpeg2 support will be better/working/finetuned, etc :p

Any suggestion for converting proggy for this?

Not to mention I would like join them, so I could complete movie from there DVDs to one file - just like my HDTV version of Matrix :D

Anyone know, what program to use to take the mpeg2 out from the TransportStream (ts) files?

Please, help! :(

If in your .ts file are subtitles also included and you want to preserve them, then use ProjectX to demux video, audios and subtitles to .sup form together with IFO data for subtitles.

Ha!

...HDTV2MPEG seems working pretty well, great, thanks!

I tried the Tmpgenc 3.0 Expres, btu it still complaining about not installed WM9 correctly/at all? I install the WM9 codecs, I believe, what else?
Is there any new version or what the hell?

PS: i believe the ts files could contain subtitles too. Any way to dig them out?

...i managed to find many utilities about ProjectX name, but none that is suitable for this kind of work. Link, please? :(
