I'm going to buy a cheap used notebook and
don't want to spend money on unused features.
It should play DVD content from harddrive,
but I don't know how strong CPU has to be.
Are 400MHZ enough? Which VGA does motion estimation
and frees CPU from number crunching?
Does chipsets matter?
Tell me your experiences with good old hardware, please.
