I'm trying to make an unattended installation DVD for Windows that includes a lot of applications that will install silently. I've chosen VLC as my primary playback program, but for the life of me I cannot get it to play back a DVD.

Are there any specific codecs I will need to install? From what I've found, I need to compile some sort of linux library in order to use VLC to playback DVDs. What would i be able to use for windows in place of this linux library?
