AR Discrepancy

Erm, I have a M2V that DIF4U labels as 4:3, however DVD2AVI+DGMPGDec both say it's 16:9. Its a multi-PGC VTS and it has other PGCs with video that are all detected as 4:3. (Its the Futurama Volume2 Disc2 DVDs) I'm not quite sure how to handle this.. Don't all the PGCs in a VTS have to have the same AR? I would think that DVD2AVI is wrong as ALL the other episodes on ALL the DVDs I've done so far are 4:3. Should I just change the AR in the D2V? Or are there other things that need to be done before encoding?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

In a perfect world, yes they are all the same but I've seen some pretty goofy stuff from poorly authored dvd's..

I believe that Eyes labels asset AR based off the ifo which yeah.. would report either all 4:3 or 16:9

what's it say if you drop it into scenarist?

Your course of action though I'd think would depend on what it really looks like (when playing back the .m2v) .... you might be able to add the LB frame to it w/ avisynth and encode at 4:3 or might have to do so some fancy cropping....
