I just found this link to a really cheap dual layer drive. Can anyone verify that this model actually burns DL and is worth the purchase?

Yes, it is true. The 2510A can do DL. And yes, that seems like the correct market price for a 2510A.
However, if you're going to buy it, for the love of , get it at some other place! (the place you linked to has been known for shady practices and ripoffs)
[i]Reputable dealers like NewEgg actually have the drive for cheaper, and free shipping, too.

get it at newegg...they're REALLY good about returns and stuff if something is wrong with it. and they ship really fast too.
I hope we get some feedback soon about the dual layer media once people start trying it. I want to know how compatible it is with existing players etc...the only thing I don't like about it is the 2.4x speed...ugh

I just orderd that 2510 from newegg. I might get that 10 pack that includes a dual layer disc and try it out on a superbit movie and see how it goes.
