Does anyone have suggestions for a software application (retail, shareware, freeware, or whatever) that will help automate the process of creating my own custom DVD's?
I have a lot of video files (of several different formats) which I would like to put on DVD, both for archival purposes and so that I can watch them on my set top player. I am looking for a basic DVD authoring tool that will help automate this process.
I own CCE, and would prefer to use it to re-encode before burning. An application that will integrate with CCE would be a huge plus. As far as menu creation, I need only the most basic of text-only menus, just a list of titles, nothing fancy. I am much more concerned about video/encoding quality than any bells and whistles as far as menus, etc.
I would prefer a nice GUI-driven front end so that I don't have to do much of the nitty gritty work at all. I like NeroVision Express quite a bit, but the encoding quality leaves a lot to be desired, and its encoding engine is slloooowwwwwwww. It would take months to get all the video that I want to burn over to DVD-R's if I had to use NeroVision to do it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
