I am new to DVD authoring, and it all seems so complicated. However, the most intuitive DVD authoring program I have seen and used so far has to be TMPGEnc DVD Author. Version 1.5 is great, but the problem is that the program only limits you to import 1 audio track, and only 2 track stereo, not 5.1. I was wondering if anyone knows whether they are working on developing a newer version of this great program that will alow us to import multi-tracks, as well as 5.1? This is such an easy program to use, that I can't part with it. So far everytime I have tried to use other DVD authoring programs so I can use multi-tracks, every single one has been way too overwhelming and confusing to me. I really hope they develop an update to this program that will allow us to use more than 1 stereo track, because this is the only DVD authoring program I seem to understand that makes it feel like it's an easy thing to do, when I know it's not. If anyone knows whether such an update is in the works, I would appreciate the info. Thanks!

Carlos.

Don't know about the multi track audio, but it will accept 5.1 right now. When DvdAuthor rejects importing a 6 channel ac3 there is something wrong with it. Pass the ac3 thru BeSplit and and enjoy your dvd with 5.1 surround.
