Finaly I've made it! (I think...)

I've used to encode DD 2.0 with ReelDVD, at 192 and 224 kbps.
But the sound volume was always lower than the original wav file.
In Scenarist the same at (-27dB)

Last week I've read something that with Dialog Normalization at -31dB,
should solve the problem.

Et voilá...

I've just encoded a wav file into DD 2.0 224kbps that sounds like the
original (high volume). A music song.

On Scenarist ac3 encoder I have for a 2.0 input:
Data Rate: 224
Sample rate: 48
Dialog norm.:-31dB
Bit Stream: main audio service: complete main (CM)
audio bandwith 20.30
Dolby surround mode: not indicated
Copyright bit: SELECTED
Original bit Stream: SELECTED
Audio Production Inf. Exists: NOT SELECTED
Input Filtering: NONE SELECTED
Surround 3dB att.: NOT SELECTED
Compression Cha.: NONE
RF Over.: SELECTED
-----------------------------

As far as I can hear, the audio is ok, but I can be wrong (never knows!)

-Does anyone use these values?
-Is the best way to have an DD 2.0 with the same volume of the original sound?

I've tested several values for Dialog norm. equal to the RMS of the wav and I always get a lower volume.

Thanks
Carlos
