So how distracting is the watermark on SP trial version? I'm running Basic, but am finding that many features are not supported... Do any of you just accept this and go ahead and use the trial version anyway?

Stay with basic.
Why change (and have a watermark)?
Have you ever had bad results?

Good point.
No bad results, but perhaps some that could have benefitted from more options. The two-pass limit in Basic has been fine with me, but I have read quite a bit in this forum from members utilizing SP's advanced settings (like OPV and filtering).

OPV is a no go with basic.
You can have filtering adding avisynth commands (and probably you get better results than internal CCE SP filters).
Quality/cost ratio for CCE basic is excellent.

robot1,

yes, I've seen the posts related to these avisynth filters... where do you find the dll's for these filters to add to the plug in folder?
