Using Q Factor 1

Hi everyone !
Iam using D2S Roba to convert DvD to Svcd.
By the default there is setting of Q=35 in Auto mode.
As we know the lower Q the better quality.

Is someone tryed Q=1? Is there really difference between Q=30 and Q=1?
Iam quality driven.

Any sugestions?

Yes, you can use Auto Q=1, but it will require a lot of media. Much more than actually needed for a good quality encode.
