ok here's my problem

i rcently downloaded a film of the net. it was enocded as a vcd, split into 2 files (bin files).

i used winISO to extract the contents of the files into 2 separate folder, cd1 and cd2.
each folder had the common vcd folder structure.

ext
mpegav
segment
vcd

the problem is that when i try to play the .dat file in the mpegav folder the video is all corrupted (can't see anything at all, ditto with the sound).

ive already deleted the original .cue and .bin files.

i wanted to watch the film on my pc rather than burn to cd.
anyhows ive tried many ways to fix this problem.
ive used vcdgear to try to extract the .dat file into an mpg, same problem.
ive tried to copy the .dat file, rename it into mpg, then burn using nero (using vcd profile), same problem.

funny thing is i have another film i downloaded of the net, same format, but i used daemonTools to create a virtual drive on my system, then just play the file using media player or VLC, and it works fine.

is there any way i can fix this???
i hope i dont haveto redownload this...

thanks

p.s one more thing i forgot to mention. vcdgear did say that the file had an invalid header or something to that extent.

EDIT: i have managed to grab the origianl .cue files....will this help in solving the problem. i thought about someway of recreating the original .bin files using the directory structure as above, is this possible???
