Hello all,

I'm trying to demux a .ts file with dvd2avit3. I'm having a problem that I can't figure out.

When I hit f4 to save a project file I get an .ac3 file no problem, but a d2v file that is 2kb. For some reason it won't demux the video. I've looked on the forum , but haven't come up with anything yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the PID detection in the Stream menu of DGIndex. You may have set your video PID incorrectly.

It shows 11 and that's what I have it set to. I can't figure this out. It doesn't even try to demux the video. Audio works fine though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep plugging away and if all else fails I haven't reformated in a while anyway. :)

What do you mean by "demux the video". Neither DVD2AVI nor DGIndex demux video into an ES stream file. They both write a D2V file that is then opened by MPEG2DEC3/DGDecode using Avisynth. The process is described in the Quick Start document that comes with DGMPEGDec.

There are other tools you can use if you just wish to demux the video into an ES file.
