NTSC hatret

I have tested this program and i find it not working so good on NTSC DVD's

I choosed NTSC to PAL and it made the video wrong dimentions (dvd to svcd)

I want to deinterlace the movie so its a proper ntsc svcd file.
Guides are for PAL only, anyone got a guide or can tell me how to make this?

I made a search in the forum but didnt find anything helpfull.

Anyway, :logfile: so other people can try to figure out what went wrong.

I shall to it again and paste the logfile here.
the guide is for PAL.

the SVCD gets 464*480 instead of 480*480 thats whats makes me look like a questionmark.

I post a msg tomorrow (in a few hours that is) and we see what the rest say.

Dont know what to choose on deinterlace dropdown menu, smartdeinterlace or what shall i use becosue this is a NTSC movie.

- Inte not deinterlaced, it IVTC , i still see interlacved lines or what you call them in NTSC films. Also the SVCD file gets 464*480 instead of 480*480 as a NTSC svcd shall have.

Go to the frameserver Tab and click on the "..." button next to the BiCubic filter. Make sure the TargetWidth and TargetHeight are set to AUTO.

They are set to Auto in that tab. thats what makes me so confused ...
I can always abort the encoding and edit the scriptfile for width.

But when i openup the mpeg with dvd2avi and press F4 to have it scanned, its still 29,xx frameset and no information regarding interlaced, deinterlaced ... ivtc. First time on ntsc and not last so i have to get this to work really.

Any other thoughts of this?
