Dear All,

this is going to be kinda long post, so pls bare with me.

VTS_01_0.IFO : http://users.otenet.gr/~dataplex/VTS_01_0_IFO.txt

DIF4U decodes VTS01/PGC02 and imports the following track in scenarist: http://users.otenet.gr/~dataplex/scn_trk.jpg

Now I'm building VTS01/PGC01, the actual movie and when I try to compile I get the following errors:

What puzzles me is how is this possible since both scenes originate from the same stupid track?

All help appreciated,

all the best

PS. it wasn't that long after all :)

This movie is a seamless branched movie with angles as well. It took me about a week to reauthor this. You have to demux it by VobId and because some branching is done even within VobIds you have to get the chapters right :-O
Then you have to make all the tracks yourself in scenarist and then to insert the tracks in exactly the same order as the order in the original IFO. If you make one error it is all mixed up and IFOupdate may not do its job right.
It was interesting for education purposes and to get to learn how scenarist works, but I would never do this again, LOL. It is definately not an beginners movie.

Regards,
medicus

PS: As I just see is that the version you have does not have angels. In the German R2 version you even have angles, but only for the different credits and the beginning ;-)

tnx Medicus,

I just had to hear it I guess :scared:
is the track building order significant? Personally I would build 1st PGC1, the main movie, then PGC2 and the rest.

Do you have to use ACM mode in IfoUpdate?
Actually last week I've done Matchstick Men, another movie with dup VOB id's and ACM didn't work, because scenarist had joined two VOBid's, but standard mode worked fine. Iguess what I'm asking is how does scenarist decide to build the VOBid's?

tnx again :thanks:
