How to convert 1 chan audio into 2 channel ?

hello i was wondering how i would convert a one channel audio track into two channels. Could someone help me out with this?

use a decoder which upmixes automatically to 2 channels on playback :D

could u give me the name of a decoder i could use or a link of a guide. Like i said im not really familiar with this stuff. :P

For the live listening use AC3Filter by Valex.
For converting audio records to multichannel use BeSweet or HeadAC3 programs.All needed informations and links you will find on this Doom9 forum - use search button

I have a wav file not a MP2 file though.

These are universal programs, working with "everything".

BeSweet wont load the Wav file i have, gonna try HeadAC3 i hope it works.

i usual use a wav editor to copy the one channel into the second channel.
