SWEp2: AOTC with DVD-RB ... jptheripper can you please help me?

Hi there,

May be many of you can help me, but I've read a post of jptheripper telling the story of successfully bucking up AOTC with DvDReMake and DvD-RB.
I did perfectly understand how to remove extra angles with IfoEdit 0.96. After that, DVD-RB will be able to process the DVD (luckily).
My problem is, how to strip 2/3 of the MENUS. I want to keep just Spanish Menus.
Could you please give a little “kind of guide” on how did you :
2. Use DVD Remake (dimadsoft.com) from the makers of Menu edit.
a. Stripped 2/3rds of menus
b. re-routed first play to menu i choose to keep
c. removed all references to angles 2 and 3 i could find
d. removed various menu buttons i new i wouldnt use
e. removed all studio stuff, fbi, etc..

I've been fighting with this movie for so long. Please help me.

Since DVDRemake is payware, you shouldnt expect to get help in here.

But with SWEP2 the menus took almost 60% of compression in DVDShrink without significant quality drop, so I suggest you try that instead of going into complicated stripping that you cant do. You can also still picture the menu parts for other languages.

But this is the dvd-rb forum which free, and when somebody asks money for their software it means the developer has to answer for the support.

I know this is DVD-RB forum...and I did post here because the idea is to preprocess (remove angles and part of the menus) and finally DVD-RB it.

for your info

there are two options

1. the newest version of remake lets you strip angles.
2. you can also rip with dvd decrypter choosing only to keep the spanish angle.

that should get you started.
