hmmmm.... not sure about that i generally get success with 2265000, having said that when backing up star wars episode 2, that setting caused an overshoot of about 10mb, no probs just cut the credits a bit with dvd remake.

Lauguru, I have tried this and it did not work for Underworld. The size came out to 4495mb, oversized. I think that you should pay attention to your original thread and the suggestions and warnings that were given to you by some other posters on this forum about this same outcome of file sizes.

If you do not want to waste time like I did, do not use a size thats larger than "2260007", or leave the ini file to its default.

No offence intended, just would like others to know of other circumstances, too.

I agree with 2260000, through it can still come out oversized. Jdobbs set the default limit for a reason, anything above that and you should be prepared to reauthor something out or shrink the menus if it ends up oversized.

Well, I'm using
CCETargetSectors=2248698

It allows me a 4.35Gb, but I'm also adding an Undot().Deen() in the AVS files, as far as I know using filters is the only to compress more without altering too much the pictures...3,4,5...passes won't generate bytes, it can improve slightly the quality but it's less noticeable than the usage of filters.
