hi,

at the end of the creation process, i assume i have 2 main directories (among others used for de/muxing):
- x:\new_menu_dir\video_ts (created by nm4u and holding the files that were not reencoded)
- x:\new_menu_dir\batch_1\0\video_ts (created by scenarist and containing the reauthored files)

the problem i have is that i don't know what files to replace/delete/update !
- replace may be necessary
- delete may not be necessary at all
- update because i think that i need somehow to update the sectors' adress for my new vts_01_0.vob, am i right ? given that my new video_01_0.vob is way smaller, that is what brings me to think that...

so, is there any need to touch the video_ts.ifo/vob/bup files ?

i tried many combinations (keep old ifos, bups, etc, trying updating, etc...) but nothing seems to work flawlessly.
the best i could get was power dvd to call for the menu only if i did so through user command !
else the menu was playing, but i had to force a menu call to see soemting from my new menu

in brief: help

thanks in adavnce

Depends on the scenarist control option you chose. If you chose complete control your Video_ts folder contains all the new reauthored menu files & ALL ifo's, bup's, video_ts.ifo. Numenu4u automatically adjusts the ifos. If you chose any other option their will be a .bat file present. Running this will update all ifos and move them to the Video_TS folder.

The only other thing to do is once you have reauthored the movie/extras then run ifoupdate on ALL ifo's to correct sectors.
