Hi everybody,
I just put online two nice freeware tools: http://imagoX.homeip.net

Just a little story why:
I'm owning a Dreambox DM7000 and a Topfield TF5000. Before I had a Micronik 1300 (harddisk DVB-receiver, too) which was a piece of crap! Unfortunately I had quite a lot of recordings on it, when the receiver just went off. There is a tool to rip the recordings off the disk (www.haenlein-software.de software is in german unfortunately, but easy to understand).
I didn't want to convert them to MPEG or on DVD, because I wanted them copied on my new TF5000 (via USB). Of course the receiver didn't understand the stream format at once. So I had a look at the streams and so I found out that there is just a difference in some sort of header.
So I programmed a little tool, adding the header: ImagoTS-Convert.

I can also recommend Haenlein-Softwares DVR-Studio:
look here (http://www.haenlein-software.de/haenlein-software/index2.php?navigation=dvr-studio&unav=nav_progs&sprache=english)
It's easy to use and demuxes DVR-streams easily. They also have a ripper for the Topfield TF4000. All is not freeware, but I think it's worth the price and they respond quickly to support questions.

While digging into all that MPEG-stuff I also programmed a little MPEG-Muxer. It can handle multiple audio tracks including AC3 and outputs MPG, VOB or segmented VOB files.
This one might be more interesting for most of you...

Have fun using them:
