Error in UpdateIFO : Contact Developer :)

CCE : SP 2.27.00.23 using EclCCE 1.81


I was in Rebuild phase of Reencoding LaPuta - Castle In the sky movie only with just one sound track (extracted with DVD Shrink).
The program sent me "Error in IFOUpdate: Shouldn't happen -contact developer" while updating information in NavPacks for segment 16.
In DVD-RB previous versions (0.48 to 0.50), this rip never succeeded but crashed with 0003 buffer errors.
Any idea ?

Have you tried it without dvd shrink?

Shrink could be adding errors onto the disc, just try it with the original!

You were quite right. The fact is that I can transcode every DVD even reworked with DVD Shrink as long as I keep working on a "Complete DVD".
As soon as I use the rebuilding choice (either in DVD Shrink or Recode), DVD Rebuilder fails in the Rebuilding part.
So thanks for the advice but I am curious, why does it work and is it plnned to work later on ?

Just forgot... Recode = Nero Recode 2

I used to get the same errors using shrink - Now after I shrink the movie or rebuild it I load the files into ifoedit and execute get vts sectors - pretty sure that is what it is called. Anyway, that fixed the problem from then on out.
