Hi!
I get "Error Duration of each slide should be at least 0.4 second." when I'm importing a movie from script tp Scenarist pro. This has never happened before and I don't know what to do. Grateful for an answer.

can you paste the exact error. would be helpful to see more info. also.. how did you create the scenarist script? scenaid? reauthorist?
you can edit the script file and just change the duration. but i would like to know more info around the error. thank you

The error message I got was exactly as the one I posted there and I created the script with ReAuthorist.

A chapter should be at least 0,4 seconds and I guess the same applies for those slides. So the only way to solve this would be to adjust the script to make all slides at least 0,4 seconds.

So how do I do that?
Your problem lies in one of two things
1) if this asset is a "video" asset then more then likely you need to look at the last scene or second to last scene in that asset.
2) if this asset is a "still" asset (slide or still in the "TRACK" tab) then you can more easily adjust it
the problem you'll have is Scenarist doesn't tell you which asset has the short scene on import. You can try to start the compile and then it might tell you when/where it errors when it stops.. That will give you an idea.
Once you find the asset, let us know which one it is and the type and we can help farther
The cause of this is each Scene in Scenarist needs to be .4sec in duration (12 frames NTSC, 10 frames PAL) - the way RA calculates the last scene in an asset sometimes causes this problem.

Sorry man, but I didn't really get much of that. I'm still a newbie you know. Thank's anyway. I'll take a look at it and try to figure out what you mean.

ok.... try to compile the movie.... it'll fail
however, when it fails, it will show you on what asset it failed... that's the information we need to be able to help you farther..
when your looking at a dvd, the items you see as "Chapters" in scenarist are composed of cells/ scenes. each of these "Scenes" must be .4sec long which in NTSC = 12 frames, PAL = 10 frames. (as a reference, most "LayerBreaks" you see in ifoedit are composed of 15 frames)
for now, try to compile and then let us know what Track it fails on (just paste the last 8/9 lines of the build window)
