When I start 'REBUILD' I am always getting the following error message:
"There is nothing to do. DVD-RB couldn't locate the apprpriate files in working directory. You must PREPARE and ENCODE first. Aborting."
But I have already prepared and encoded the files.

Your working path must have changed. You get this error when DVD-RB attempts to find the .M2V files for the rebuild -- and the directory ...\D2VAVS doesn't exist or is not accessible. That directory is created in the PREPARE phase.

Or, if you have an old version of ECLCCE it creates .MPV files instead of .M2V. You can rename the mpv to m2v (ren *.mpv *.m2v) to save your project, then update your eclcce.

I'm getting the same message.
It varies on what version of cce I'm using though.
When using cce 2.5 I get that error.
If I try to use cce 2.66 I dont get the error, but when Rebuilder opens up cce it basically hangs, and I have to kill it to get out. I let it run for 30+ hours just to make sure it just wasnt going slow, but nothing.
I'm using EclCCE 1.81 which I believe is the newest.
And my D2VAVS folder is in the working directory and seems to be all like it should be.
What else can I try?

try using QuEnc see if you get the same problem. if not then your settings might be messed up(paths, right versions..)
also try using a older version of DVD-RB see if that helps
