Are you really using 10 pass???? From my point of view, 3 should be max, but many here are 2 passes (vaf creation + 1 passes)?

Yep 3 pass for me (2+vaf) always.. and I've never oversized with 20+ discs. I also use CCETargetSectors=2260007 which gives me ~4.36 every time.

Where can you can change the targetsector in DVD-rb? I've looked in dvd-rb configuration file, but i didnt find it.

lauguru, you should smack the person who fooled you into learning french instead of english.
But make sure the .m2v you encode actually show the picture and not a black screen with red avisynth errors.
And if the movie has lots of audio tracks, you should remove the ones you dont need. And make sure they are removed (unticked) when you PREPARE and REBUILD or dvd-rb will add them or remove them from the total size. (if you prepare without unticking and then untick when rebuilding it will undersize and vice versa).
Make sure the source VIDEO_TS folder doesnt have any extra files, only .VOB .IFO .BUP, or DVD-RB will count them out into the total available space.
Use targetsectors in the rebuilder.ini like this:
[Options]
CCE=1
BackColor=12632256
RemoveDTS=1
CCETargetSectors=2260007
[CCEOptions]

CCETargetSectors=2260007 = 4,36 gigas????
CCETargetSectors=??????? = 4,37 gigas????

You cant go "4.37" cause then you might be a couple MB short or a couple MB long.. which is what we dont want.
But the targetsectors setting cannot force your encode to come out that size if you're using the tools wrong.
If this is your first movie then you're most probably using it wrong.

No, The rebuilder.ini is in the same directory as rebuilder.exe . Edit it BEFORE you run the prepare step.
Your value seems about right. I have mine at
CCETargetSectors=2255783
and always get 4.35 GB. Also, be sure to put this in the [Options] part of the file, not just anywhere.
Then run Prepare, Encode, and Rebuild.

CCETargetSectors=2260007 = 4,36 gigas????
CCETargetSectors=2295104 = 4,38 gigas???? 4482,5 mg +/-
wmansir

That is right, but DVD-RB output may vary +/- 10MB, so it is safe to go with 4.36GB.

No, it's not.
wmansir just advised you to pull the size to 4.36GB MAX.
You're showing settings of 4.37, thus have ignored the warnings.
It's not a language problem anymore, you're just being plain stubborn.

why cannot be surpassed the 4.36 gigas?
If you fill a glass of milk to the very top and then add more...what happens?
This should answer your question I hope!

DVD Shrink does a "within the compressed domain" transcode so it doesn't have to completely reauthor nor does it have to reencode the source. That is its blessing as well as its curse. It will create exact sizes very fast, but at a lower quality.
I am not being critical of DVD-Shrink -- it is an incredibly powerful, well-written program that does an excellent job at what it is designed to do. I'm just telling you it is not the same kind of animal as this package.
Why are we arguing this point? The difference in quality between 4.36GB and 4.37GB is insignficant.
If you want to set your output target size to something higher than is recommended -- that's your option and the reason it is there. What Joergen is trying to warn you is that if you do that -- occasionally you are going to come back to a 4 hour encode that doesn't fit on a DVD-R. If you don't mind taking that risk for a .0023 difference in size then it's okay for you.
