View Full Version : AVI2SVCD can't handle 1024 X 576 AVI?

I am using the latest version of DVD2SVCD (1.2.2b1), and CCE 2.50.1.0.

When I try to convert this large-resolution AVI to SVCD, it successfully gets through the audio encoding, and then hangs right at the point of beginning the video encoding. Basically, the last line in the log is "Executing Cinema Craft Encoder." ... the CCE windows never even appear. I don't know whether this is an avisynth problem, or CCE problem, or an AVI2SVCD bug. Has anyone else successfully encoded large-resolution AVI's using CCE 2.5?

Hi. Welcome to the forum.
I can't say I've ever tried an avi of such high resolution but I would hazard a guess at an avisynth error. Try using Windows Media Player to open the file Avisynth_script_file.avs from your movie output folder.

Do you get a picture, or red text on a black background?
If the latter, what does it say?

CCE will not accept over a 720 width, IIRC. He would need to post his script so we could see how it was resized, if at all.
