Hi all,
I've worked for a long time with ReelDVD and encode the audio there to 192 or 224 Kbps. Always without problems.
Recently I started authoring with Scenarist, but still encoding the audio with ReelDVD. Easyer...
Yesterday Ive tested some encodes with the Scenarist encoder.
I've aplyed the Dialog normalisation with the values that I get on SoundForge but the final ac3 file has a lower volume than the one encoded with ReelDVD.
And both lower than the original wav file (-14,5 dB).
Please help.
What should I do exactly on the Scenarist encoder to hace a decent ac3 file?
The sound was an commercial of 16:02 sec, with a peek of -1.0 dB.
I need to encode a show of 1h16m and would like to do it on Scenarist to apply the dialog norm and so on. If I can't do it, I'll go back to ReelDVD.
Many Thanks
Carlos
