I just finished downloading Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon DTS version, but when i play it on all players all i hear is static. I thought the new ac3 filter can play dts as well. what am i doing wrong? do i need to encode this wav file in anyway? (wouldnt that mean i would lose some quality?) any help will most appreciated, thanks.

the cd isnt warez, i completed the download from a friend of mine over seas. i paid for the original with a credit card and he sent me a ripp of it meanwhile (the shipping is one month long - i cant wait that long).
What soundcard are you using? Most software, soundcards won't play a 44100/16-bit dts file...that I know of, anyway. :(

There are already dozens of posts/threads talking about how to do this. Just use the search. Even better, read the DTS FAQ.
