Blank Dl Media

Does anyone know when they hit the stores?Any link?Are there any DVD-+R blank media that have the same color at the bottom with the original dvd's we buy?

You can contact Sony's parts department via phone to order dl blanks. The tech I spoke with was not sure when they would have the media on their website for order.

DVD+R DL is a fact, but so is the fact that the laser is purple/red and so far no other color dye works with it. In the same fashion the first (and still best) CD-R dye is green/blue.

Actually CD lasers are infrared

Doh, youre right the 780nm wavelength is at the edge of infrared.
