Div3/Div4 crashes players

Hi!

Whenever I try to play a movie (.avi) with video encoded with Div3/Div4-DivX3FastMotion (according to gSpot) my players (BSPlayer, MediaPlayer,...) crash. Only the DivX Player (from divx.com) and Virtual Dub can open such files. Could there be a way to do something about this? I for one certainly don't enjoy players that won't let me capture an image (DivXPlayer.)

May be there is a crash in the DirectShow, DivX player does not use DirectShow (I think) That's the reason you can open the file.
Try to re-install the DirectX, if that's not working, get the file "BigFix1.6b.exe" from the DivX site.
