I am thinking about buying a HDTV-T card for my PC. In the FAQ section listed a few links to HDTV-T cards but they were UK pages. Are UK cards the same as US cards?

My basic desire is to record HDTV-T (free broadcast) to my HD then burn to DVD (never miss an epasode of Friends, or any other thing my family wants). After cutting out the comersials that is. Can anyone recomend a good card for this purpose, keeping price/quality in mind?

Thanks
Jim

In the US you need an ATSC card, not DVB-T (while DVB-S is used by certain US satellite services, DVB-C and DVB-T are strictly non US). Check the FAQ for a few HD cards: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41588

I plan to have a similar list for ATSC as we have for DVB but I haven't gotten around to compiling it yet but it's high up on my todo list.
