Hy!

I was just reauthoring a movie, with DVD Maestro and when I arrived around the 100th menu, DVDMaestro began to crash. I cannot add more menus, but I would like to. Everybody has this problem, or is this some sort of dvd spec limit?

The other way would be to put the rest of the 150 pic on a movie timeline, BUT! I don't know how to make the following:
-150 pics on the timeline , that's ok
- If "left" button is pressed go the pic just before
- If "right" button is pressed go the pic just after.
- If "menu" button is pressed go to the menu
- If 10 seconds past then go to pic just after.
- No subpics needed
- No button seen

Thanks!

From Chapter 4, page 7, of the 2.8 DVD Maestro manual:

"Spruce DVD Authoring supports up to 10,000 menus within a project. The actual number of menus you can have depends on your systems resources and the size of the files that make up the menus. All of the menus must compile into a single 1GB file within the VIDEO_TS folder."

Hy, thanks for your answer, I read after your post this part of the manual.
It's a great thing to know that you can close your menu windows, without closing the entire project :D :D :D

By the way, my second question still stands :)

Well, you can choose "manual VTS Allocation" instead of Abstract and if you have menus that are more than 1GB (trust me, it happened to me once!) you can dumb some of them to another VTS.

I made the still show with menus, now that works just fine now. Only problem is that I don't know how to make the still show picture menus go up to the upper level menu (not root menu).

There is an option in the CONNECTIONS panel that allows you to change the default options to ADVANCED. In the ADVANCED options, there is a GOUP (go up) item that might be what you are looking for.

Thanks I'll try that.
