Hello!
Ive recorded a Radiohead concert with my Nokia Mediamaster 9902s,
extracted the stream(s) with MediaMex 0.25a to a m2v and a (RAW) .mpg audio file.
Opening these files with ProjectX, and output to m2p with otherwise no changes to the default settings, causes the audio to be delayed after a certain glitchpoint.
(as I recorded the video/audio glitched for a second or two)
Ive also tried another method, where in Mediamex I picked "Remove PES headers" and from there used the video+audio in dvdlab.
To make that work, I had to convert the audio to ac3,
since the audio was reported as faulty (at the glitchpoint)
Anyhow, as I mux the new ac3 + video, the sound is correct,
although very very slightly async because I did not use the PES headers (which includes a small delay on the video)
This leads me to believe that I can have a video+audio file
which looses audio+video only on the glitchpoint, and is still sync throughout.
However, while I can have perfect sync using ProjectX,
the glitchpoint causes much disturbance.
The audio stops for about 3 seconds(roughly the glitch period)
as the video continues, and when the audio continues, its async
by roughly 3 seconds. ProjectX reports an insertion of frames which
is accurate to the same delay.
It seems as though projectx just adds empty frames to cover up the bad audio, but no empty video frames, hence creating a badly synced video.
Maybe Im wrong, but regardless, is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks for any help,
