I tried several times to get r4r (the latest version) to rip a DVD, but the arrow never lit up on the r4r screen, so the ripping wouldn't start. It recognized the DVD and listed the PGC, but the arrow icon at the end was greyed out. I also tried ripping it to the hard drive, but that didn't work either; the virtual dub hung up, which I know it will do if the DVD is scratched or dirty. Finally, I went through the steps manually (DVDDecrypter,DVD2AVIdg, BeSweet etc.) and then went into GK and the video came out fine. My question is, why wouldn't r4r run on the DVD to begin with? Thanks.
