I came across this today: http://www.auscert.org.au/render.html?it=4091

But where the heck is the attack described? I know the specs pretty well from school and all, and I know that if you can reprogram the card so that it doesn't perform the usual CSMA/CA (or just doesn't respect the delays and uses an interframe space shorter than SIFS, your station will always get the channel and block all others from ever using it), but where the heck is the exploit? If it's what I just described, that's hardly bug news.. but the same channel assessment is also done in the 802.11a/g standards so those would also be affected. But most people are not really up to program their own card drivers, so basically you'd need a linux platform with open source drivers and be rather proficient at driver programming to even attempt to do this.
