Is the money is not the problem,
and quality is the only concern.
Which one you do prefer for VCD encoding,
CCE or TMPG ?

PS. The source is from DVD, NTSC PURE INTERLACED.

For MPEG-1 (which VCD uses), TMPGEnc is generally considered to be clearly superior to CCE.
MPEG-2 (SVCD, DVD) is another matter entirely.

Tmpgenc is the way to go for Mpeg1. CCE doesn't do MPEG1 with good quality. :rolleyes:

Ok, I can finally sure the TMPGEnc is over the CCE for VCD-MPEG1
encoding.
