Audio probs in Convert from ASF

Converting an ASF file to PAL SVCD using TMPG Plus v2.5 leaves the 32kbit 32kHz mono audio with dropouts on the final cut. Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening please guys?

Look for virtualdub 13c on the net. This can be used to
parse the asf, and spin off the audio to a wav file.

You can then feed this wav to tmpgenc and it will encode properly.
