vcd and svcd on dvd-r

hi all

i have vcd and svcd movies that i would like to add to the same dvd-r without reencoding is it possible? i have patched them using dvd patcher but when i add the second movie it wont let me because its in mpeg1 format and tmpgenc dvd author refuses to mix mpeg1 with mpeg2 formats. is there any other dvd authoring software that will let me do this? or will i have to reencode 1 of them to the other format?

hm try to patch only the svcd.
normaly you don't need to patch vcd.
I don't know if it works with scenarist but
SpruceUp might do it.
