CCE 2.5 errors avi stream read

Im trying to encode an vhs capture(iuvcr/huffy 2.1) using CCE 2.5 avi to mpeg2 I get and avi stream error "a disk error occured while reading the file " when I click okay I get" Video checksum is different from previous pass"When i click okay again I get the same error . This happens a total of three times then it aborts this happens after only about 5minutes from start of encode .

Use the search function and use the terms "cce and checksum and error" and you will find quite a few threads on this subject. But basically what is happening is that during the creation of the vaf file, a checksum value is created for each frame of video, unique to the contents of the frame. After creating the vaf file, cce starts through the video file again to encode it and it gets a frame of video that its checksum doesn't match what it saw the first time through.

There are a couple solutions mentioned in these threads.

Thanks I see the crc patch would fix this however I cant find it anywhere

You won't find it here but if you use google you should still be able to find it.
