Hello,

For the most part all is well with dvd-decryptor and my use of it ... however, I notice that if I put the DVD in my computer and play it, and then play the ripped copy of that DVD, I need to turn the volume up much farther when playing the ripped copy.

So it seems my rips have low volume level for some reason ... how can I normalize this _during the RIP_ ? (I have not ripped more than a few dvds, so I would rather re-rip them without the flaw than normalize them after the fact)

Any idea why this is happening ?

thanks.

The audio isnt touched, it's mearly copied over.

You will find the problem lies with the way you're playing the ripped files. Play them as a dvd and the player software will enable its volume boosting logic that gets employed on a proper dvd video disc.
