Drive not locked while burning?

When I start PowerDVD 4 XP while burning a DVD+R with DVD-Decrypter the DVD+R has some defect Sectors as shown in the log-File.

Are there any plans to lock the drive in a future version of DVD-Decrypter?

It already does a certain amount of locking.

You have to be using SPTI as your I/O interface. Once burning has started, you will no longer be able to access the drive via explorer.

It'll just say 'access denied' or something.

Have you tried hitting 'retry' when the error comes up? (assuming you do get an error that is?)

It would help if you actually posted the log with the errors listed.
