Hello,
The Hauppauge nexus card records Mpeg2 files with a maximum bitrate at 15000kb/s (it depends of the channels video flow) which causes uncompatibility with DVD video format.
I should like to obtain a m2v file (Mpeg2 file without sound) with a maximum bitrate at 8500kb/s in order to build a DVD video and so, to avoid using an authoring software which makes a longer file (double size) by re-encoding again in Mpeg2 format with a loss of quality.
Someone knows some inquiries about that?
I already made by Tmpeg DVD autor software a DVD video (with m2v at 15000kb/s and ac3 sound multiplexed) which can be readen without problem with a computer but in jerks with a home DVD player...
Thanks for your reply!!!
