For some reason, everytime I come to subtitles with AutoGK it's a nightmare.

Has anyone used AutoGK for Kill Bill volume 1 and if so, what are the settings to show the English subtitles when Japanese is spoken.

I have three sub (English) tracks and one "no subtitles" - I have just about tried everything - with and without selecting forced subtitles.... In Preview, I either get subtitles throughout the film or nothing...and ripping it properly does the same...

So...get me out of my misery and tell me how I do this?? Pretty please?

Select English Widescreen in the main AutoGK section, and then forced subs only in the advanced section. Worked for me.

Currently preview doesn't properly show forced subs, but main movie does. The problems is fixed for the next version.

thanks guys. much appreciated. Have sent AutoGK off do go rip....

I think my main problem is probably to do with DVDDecrypter. I had it in the File mode to copy across the whole DVD...

1) If I want to copy the whole contents of a DVD across to my HD, I should use File mode right?

2) If I want things to work for Auto GK I need to go IFO mode and tick various boxes(as per the instructions somewhere on Doom9!!) Is that right?

3)If I use the File mode and then use Auto Gk to look at the VIDEO_TS folder that I have created...things will go horribly wrong for subs?? I have ripped un-subbed DVDs to avi this way though....

@gorduser
Heh
it's all explained in the AutoGk FAQ.
Or head over to AutoGk Website and read Help.
It's all explained a thousand times

So give it a shot!
